That’s right baby, it’s business time. Tonight’s the night we make love…..because it’s Wednesday! When I’m down to my business socks, it’s business time. What a combo, Mom’s Grilled Cheese and Flight of the Conchords, Business Time. Keeping it light and fun today, enjoy the video!
Welcome 2014, and welcome to Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck today! We are open for business as usual. Suffering from a New Years day hangover? Got the munchies? Downtown shopping? Skating at Robson Square? On the walk of shame home in last nights clothes? Nobody loves you? We do baby! There is a laundry list of reasons to be down here, so stop by Mom’s today at Robson and Howe Streets for our special, or perhaps just a good old fashion cheddar and tomato grilled cheese, or some chili, or organic tomato soup, or……OK, enough.
The Vancouver Food Cart Fest is back baby!! However this year it’s changed location, to 215 West 1st Avenue which is located south east of the Cambie Street Bridge, which opened in 1985 but was originally named the Connaught Bridge in 1912.Bet you didn’t know that! Mix in all of Vancouver’s favorite street food carts, markets, live music, kids stuff, DJs, and more cool stuff and you’ve got what Mom’s niece and nephew would say is “way more better”. The Food Cart Fest runs every Sunday from 12 to 5 PM until September 22, which is a big birthday in Mom’s family. Hey, it’s one of the cheapest things you can do in Vancouver too, only $2 admission, kids 13 and under are gratis. See you this Sunday!
